It’s Been A While…And Some Social Media Sites to Manage Money With

  1. Well, if folks take stock advice from a Motley Fool — why not BullPoo?

    🙂

  2. Oh Laura, I love it!! That’s true.

  3. Maybe I will just stick with throwing a dart.

  4. The concept of social media is losing its character what with the companies are becoming more profit conscious and restricting their users right to interact within the web.

  5. You have a valid point, Kalpesh, but I’m all for social networks getting paid and also setting boundaries for what is allowable user content (foul language, flaming, and spam aside).

  6. I’m new to blogging. A real enigma. After just 3 months, already I’m high in some search pages on tough, high-competition keywords, but no comments, nothing to indicate anyone is reading it. Can’t figure this out. There has to be some way to make sense out of this incongruity.

  7. Hi Jack,

If you’re getting a lot of traffic and ranking well for competitive keywords after 3 months, that’s awesome! Reader engagement can sometimes be more difficult than achieving high rankings, I guess. We’re all so busy and to take the time to drop a comment — we sometimes like a site but just don’t have anything to say.

Perhaps in your posts you could finish off your writing with a thought provoking question?

Another idea is to turn off your nofollow tags (do a search for dofollow blogs) and people might be more encouraged to drop comments to make their links “count”, but that’s not the right motivation, in my opinion.

    Good luck!
